Description:
I was sub-contracted to redesign this site and give it a fresh and modern look while keeping it still youthful. I enlisted Edge Webware to do the coding implementation since it required a very robust CMS build to accommodate all the client's needs.
* please note, the logo on the website was not designed by me. I suggested removing the box and background and moving the "Miami Valley" to the script line but it was rejected.

Description:
The website is built with HTML/CSS and integrated into CMSMS (Content Management). There is a custom search graphic integrated through the CMSMS system so it is functional. The menu utilized CSS and jQuery. The front flash is XML-driven so the client can update screens, the title, and the links. The news is populated on both the front page and the news page/archive page simultaneously.

Description:
The old site did not allow the client to be able to edit anything themselves (and certainly not easily). They also wanted to have a visual separation of areas, even though there were tabs for those areas. The client wanted it more obvious that you were in a different section. The design was also 4 years old - in need of an update.
On the new site, everything on the front page is fully editable, including the flash image slider (XML-driven) and the news scroller (jQuery - client can edit in the article). An added feature was the search button which will give results for the entire website. Each tabbed section has a different background and some have varied color schemes.
