Work Terms
|
Potential transcription clients:
Minimum rate per transcription is $50 per audio hour. Non-US based clients, or poor audio quality, will result in higher hourly fee (to be discussed before project starts).
For non-transcription projects my minimum hourly rate is $10.00.
Payment terms:
New clients will be expected to fund an escrow account for estimated project cost, or for one week of services- if work is to be ongoing. A release of escrow will be requested at the end of the project (or weekly, if applicable), once the client has a chance to review submitted work.
Once a working relationship has been established, then invoicing is acceptable. I just feel that with new clients an escrow set-up protects both parties' interest and is the preferable way to establish a long-term working relationship.
