I have designed and utilized many basic databases for various functions to include managing employee benefits, track progress of large (16,000 piece) marketing campaign, and status of files for numerous large equity accounts for the fourth largest brokerage firm in the world. I have worked as admin/HR support in very diverse industries namely active duty military, investment banking, construction, account collections, non-profit organizations, and coal production. Multi-tasking is second nature and I never panic regardless of the pressure of short deadlines. Bottom-line is I am a very well rounded and talented assistant.

I have worked in an administrative support role in addition to my job duties in nearly every position I have held in the last 16 years. I am well advanced in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. My knowledge of these programs includes, but it not limited to, various formatting techniques, presentation animation, mail merges, creating formulas, mapping formulas to work in multiple spreadsheets (i.e. total separate worksheet tabs in a workbook in a single central worksheet) for easier at-a-glance look. I am also well versed in MS Access. I can navigate nearly any Access database and build from the ground-up basic functional databases that will streamline simple office needs. I am extremely proficient with Internet navigation and using multiple search engines. If you are looking for something and it is on the internet (and it probably is) I can find it. I can clearly communicate the English language verbally and in written form in a professional manner. I can write letters, memos, briefs, policies, presentations, and proposals for every level of management and any organization. I have extensive and detailed knowledge of employment law and benefits administration; I hold a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership (the core curriculum being Human Resource Management). |
