Administrative professional with more than 10 years of experience in general transcription, word processing, editing, and proofreading. I have worked with analog recordings using a four-channel transcribing system as well as digital recordings using For the Record and Express Scribe software. My typing speed is 80 WPM with very high accuracy.
I am proficient in a variety of software programs with the ability to learn new tools as required. I also offer strong grammar, organization, and problem-solving skills, as well as a “can-do” attitude.
As independent contractor, I thoroughly enjoy working with text and documents. My transcription experience includes transcribing hearings for the Social Security Administration’s Office of Hearings and Appeals. I am also available to transcribe lectures, sermons, meetings, hearings, focus groups, interviews, etc. I can work with most audio file formats such as .wav, mp3, .dct, .ra, and many more.

Work Terms

• Payment must be made through SafePay Escrow or PayPal for all initial project work.
• Communication can be through phone or email during business hours: M-F 9:00am to 5:00pm EST. I welcome initial contact by phone, but all specific project requirements or instructions must be provided in writing via email.
• General Availability: 20-30 hours per week, Monday/Friday 12:00noon-4:00pm; Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 8:00pm-4:00pm EST
