· Was responsible for developing a Schedules component from technical specifications provided. It allows users to enter or update manifest records for any given state, schedule, and product as well as reviewing production totals for any schedule. The schedules component utilized VB 6.0, Sheridan Controls and is designed to work with Oracle, DB2 and SQL Server databases.
· Responsible for developing reporting component from technical specifications provided. It allowed users to run specific reports for any valid state, schedule, and product combination. The reporting component utilized VB6.0, Crystal Reports 6.0/8.0, and Sheridan Controls and is designed to work with Oracle, DB2 and SQL Server databases.
· Developed EDI Transmission tool utilizing Visual Basic, Visual C++, Sheridan Data Widgets and ADO. Application performs transmission of EDI file utilizing custom FTP/VAN/SMTP custom developed controls. Eight levels of encryption as well as data compression were also supported by through custom developed controls.
· Developed Installation PreChecker utilizing Visual C++. Application checked client system before installation of product to determine whether or not system met specified minimum requirements.
· Performed support and solutions for clients regarding installation, system and networking problems.
· Performed network administration, remote access administration for DePere office. Network included Windows 2000 Advanced Servers, Windows NT 4.0 Server, SQL 2000, SQL 7.0, Terminal Server 2000 and VPN.
· Developed installations of Zytax products utilizing InstallShield 6/7 for Windows 98/NT/2000/XP/ME desktop platforms, as well as Windows 2000 Advanced Server/Windows NT Server and Terminal Server on Windows 2000 Advanced Server.
