Currently I manage a three-person team responsible for the day to day operations of VBgov.com (the City of Virginia Beach official Web site) and city's Intranet site.
I am leading (and lead programmer) in migrating from Vignette version 6 to version 7. The migration will allow for multiple sites, better accessibility for users and mobile capabilities. The delivery applications are being developed in ASP.NET, ADO.NET and VB.NET 2.0 using Visual Studio 2005. The application is using a .NET class to interfaces with a Java Web Service (from Vignette). This interface will allow the delivery application to consume XML from the Java Web Service and render in a browser using XSL.
Designed, developed, tested, and implemented two secure, web-based testing applications for Cardinal Health Systems. The applications allow authorized users to build ad-hoc tests for medical professionals.
Designed, developed, tested, and implemented a secure, web-based ad hoc query application for INSURV (U.S. Navy). Application allows users to choose display fields, build conditional statements, create custom order statements, and group or use aggregate functions. Users also have the option to filter, save, export, or share their queries.
