I’m looking for a researcher to create a detailed report to be a presented to a company which is planning to sell its products online.
The report should tackle - in detail:
the steps they’ll need to take,
the pitfalls to watch out for,
the many challenges (logistics, currency... Show all I’m looking for a researcher to create a detailed report to be a presented to a company which is planning to sell its products online.
The report should tackle - in detail:
the steps they’ll need to take,
the pitfalls to watch out for,
the many challenges (logistics, currency risk, legal issues) and
the options that are available to them – from quick and low-cost shopping cart / Paypal functionality, to ‘industrial strength’ bespoke systems.
It should explain which approach is most suitable for which type and size of business – from a small local store, to a global manufacturer.
And of course it should provide an indication of the relative (very approximate, of course) costs of each.
The audience is non-technical. Therefore complex concepts should be explained in simple everyday terms.
That said, writing style is not our main concern: the report will be edited before it is presented to the client.
Most importantly, the information provided must be detailed, current and accurate - listing sources of further support and - where possible - including case studies, explaining how other firms, in different industries, have ‘ecommerce enabled’ their own operations.
As to the length of the report: that’s up to you! Put simply, it should be as long as it needs to be to put across the desired information.
I would however anticipate that it will not exceed 10,000 - 12,000 words.
