You can view the website I developed for the nonprofit I work for part time at www.stemtutoring.org

I wrote the content and developed the WordPress templates for the website. The corporate identity package was designed by a friend I collaborate with often on projects.

You can view the first email in our Constant Contact email marketing campaign here: http://bit.ly/fSJIb8 I wrote the content for the email, Constant Contact does not allow you to design your own template, so the email is less aesthetically appealing than our website and other content. We looked at many different email marketing services, but chose Constant Contact for their metrics and feedback. I'm very comfortable with InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

I will work with you to understand the goals and objectives of your project, but I am completely comfortable working on my own when you don't have the time to walk through every detail of the project step by step. If you're looking for someone who will work hard to understand your objectives but will not require hand holding through the project, I'm your candidate. If I have a question, I will ask you before I move forward in the wrong direction, but I am also comfortable taking initiative in the development of marketing materials to the extent the project and your schedule demand it. Work Terms

HOURS: I can work up to 40 hours per week, I am willing to work weekends on priority projects. I can work on site in Austin and Central Texas.

RATE: I prefer to work for $30/hr, but I am willing to work for less if there are guaranteed hours. I do not like to work for a flat rate, I find that a flat rate agreement leads to disappointment on both sides of the contract. However, if we have agreed to 10 hours of work on a project and I do not feel satisfied with the quality of the completed project at 10 hours, I will work overtime at no charge to complete the task.

CONTACT: I am comfortable working by phone, email, Skype, web conference, whatever. If you feel we can work better through teleconferencing live while working on a project, I'm fine with that. I understand that I'm the employee, and I will work under whatever conditions make you most comfortable as the employer.

PAYMENT: I am new to Guru.com, and prefer to use their standard payment system. I am open to discussing other options, but the standard escrow system implemented by Guru.com is my preferred method of payment.

ISSUES/FEEDBACK: I will ask for your feedback throughout the project, so that if things begin going in the wrong direction or expectations are not being met we can recalibrate before we get too far down the wrong path. I will be open and honest with you if I do not understand your expectations, and hope you will be open and honest with me about your level of satisfaction throughout the process.
