Work Terms
OFFICE HOURS
9:00–4:00 U.S. Pacific Time, except Wednesdays and Sundays.
Other telephone hours can be arranged on a project-by-project basis to meet my clients' needs.
ONSITE WORK
I am available for on-site meetings in my geographic area. For large projects, I may be available to travel.
METHOD OF PAYMENT AND TERMS
For fixed-fee agreements, I typically require deposit of the full fee to Guru's SafePay escrow account prior to commencement of the project and an advance on projects $500.00 or more. For hourly agreements, I typically require a retainer advance followed by the remainder deposited to Guru's SafePay escrow prior to delivery.
I offer a 15% same-manuscript discount for copy editing after developmental editing or proofreading after copy editing.
