Good judgment comes from experience, and experience comes from bad judgment.

I am a New Delhi based IT professional working full time on as an independent software contractor. I have a total work experience of 8 years of which 1.5 years in Android and around 5.5 years in PHP/LAMP based web 2.0 applications design and development.

I passed out of IIT Guwahati, India in the year 2006 in Biotechnology stream. After that I went to Institute for Advanced Biosciences, Japan for a period of 7 months to become part of their research team in systems biology department which was responsible to apply mathematics and computer science to solve complex problems in the biology domain.

I returned from there in 2007 and joined a software startup, named Ariem Technologies in Bangalore India. I worked there as an R&D engineer for a period of 4 years and got an opportunity to design and develop top-notch web and mobile applications.

In Oct, 2011 I left Ariem and joined another startup in New Delhi named Simplyfeye Softwares Pvt. Ltd. which specialized in making software tools which helped bio-pharmaceutical companies gain insight into the drug manufacturing process. I was the only IT guy in that company and the other two guys [founders] mainly handled the business development while I took care of the software development . In a span of 3 years we designed a software suite which is currently being sold to several bio-pharma companies in India.

I left Simplyfeye in August, 2014 and since then am working as an independent software vendor full time.

During free time, I like to read books, go for outing and watch old movies.

Work Terms

I work on both fixed price jobs as well as hourly jobs. The general terms include a 5% down payment to kick start the project. The rest of the payment can be milestone based for fixed price jobs and weekly for hourly jobs. These terms are negotiable for repeat customers.

I adjust my time as per client's convenience and like Skype as my preferred way of communication.
