I am an experienced embedded systems developer with knowledge of vxWorks, rtLinux, QnX RTOSes. My speciality is devloping firmware for embedded avionics systems for the military. I have over nine and a half years experience in software development. I've experience in designing distributed software applications in both .NET and Java. I'm proficient in Object Oriented designs using Agile methods, but I'm able to deliver whatever a customer needs or wants. I have experience in developing software solutions for wireless/mobile applications that include PDA and Tablet PC technologies. I have experience in developing Windows/Unix/Linx solutions. During my professional career I have designed and implemnted more than four web based solutions for the military that required supporting multiple users accessing large datasets over distributed networks. I have several years administering multiple Redhat linux boxes in heterogenous Solaris 10, and Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 server environment. The linux boxes run several custmized internal software applications that include Apache, MySql, PHP, and Perl. I built my own personal linux distribution based on Slackware Linux.
