Highlights

I am an artist that has found another means of expression in the design and creation of web sites. I specialize in brochure sites for small businesses or independent contractors, as well as corporate presence. I have also created several retail web sites that utilized "buy" buttons, forms, powerpoint presentations, flash, java, javascript, and applets. It is important to me that the web site give a professional, polished appearance while enabling visitors to locate information easily and quickly.
Using photos, graphics, and locating forms for newsletter sign ups in the most practical locations on each page is a valuable skill I learned some years ago. Studies have shown that a sign up form located on the upper right side of the page is more likely to be used by visitors.
I keep up to date on what is happening in the industry by reading email newsletters and print magazines like eWeek.
It is also important for me to keep abreast of my education, updating my skills as technology moves forward.
I am sensitive to my clients needs, as well as the financial constraints that may exist. You can trust me to complete the work quickly, on time, and within budget.

Work Terms

Payment Method: Guru.com advocates that all pros and employers transact through SafePay Escrow which better ensures both parties’ protection and satisfaction should disputes arise. I will only work with employers who agree to the Escrow service (especially when working with an employer for the first time). When the employer pays through SafePay, I only accept payment by Check, E-check, or Wire Transfer Funds. Transacting with these Payment Methods is mutually beneficial: I am saved from the mandatory transaction fees attached to Credit Card and PayPal payments, and employers earn Loyalty Dollars. However, I will negotiate with clients to use Credit Cards or Paypal if necessary.
Communication: I prefer to communicate with employers by phone, e-mail, or fax at least twice a week, more frequently if the work requires.
General Availability: Even freelancers who work from home have certain times of day when they like to accomplish work and deal with clients. I am available Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm Pacific Standard Time. However, I will make special arrangements for clients who require a weekend or overnight job.
