An informal educator and curriculum designer, my training and experience include elementary pedagogy with a focus in math, secondary pedagogy, museum studies, and museum education. My current education activities include blogging about progressive education topics and producing a series of math microlectures that I’m structuring into an interactive video textbook.
An avid reader and writer, I’m building a dystopian/cyberpunk storyworld that will become home to short stories exploring anthropological and sociological issues. I edit stories, articles, and essays. I would eventually like to move into game writing as a narrative designer for transmedia and alternate reality game projects.
A sporadic performing artist, I grew up studying ballet and singing with school and church choirs. A couple of years ago I started narrating audiobooks, and have recently branched out to radio dramas. I would love to eventually expand that into playing game NPCs or doing instructional voiceovers.
