I have been working as a writer and editor for the past five years.
I started interning at local newspapers and magazines in while in college and ended up being asked to freelance once the positions were over.
Besides my job as a writer/editor for a small publishing, public relations, and communications firm, I have been published in Fitness Magazine, Rockland Magazine, The Journal News (Gannett publication).
While in college I received an award in excellence in magazine writing and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
Currently, my daily work at Bentley-Hall Inc., consists in providing all editorial content for the two magazines we publish: Making Music and The International Musician as well as editing our sales newsletter, Creative Selling, for Buick dealerships.
Various contract work includes public relations for the Percussion Marketing Council as well as writing copy for their ads and editorials in Music Trades.
I am capable of taking on several writing and editing projects of varying natures and tailoring each message to the appropriate audience.
