I am relatively new to GURU but I have over 30 years of experience in voiceovers, broadcasting.and audio production. I have been on air in Nashville, Cincinnati, Toronto and Los Angeles and other smaller markets. I realize that that alone does not qualify me to be a voice talent. However, I do love to act! I was also a Record Producer in Nashville for eight years.

I left the radio business in 2001 and started my company ZIPSPOTS.COM and Stan Campbell Imaging. Most of my income is derived from loyal clients, several who have been with me for ten years. I have also retained additional associate voices such as female voices and a Spanish voice, Tuchi Ramirez. She speaks perfect non-regional Spanish.

Although I am happy to do one-time projects, I would like to develop a few more long-term client relationships where I can get into the client's head and get a clear understanding of his or her needs.

The goal of ZIPSPOTS.COM is to provide rapid-response voiceovers and audio production, while maintaining quality and a high level of communication with the end-client. We also offer several alternative voices in three languages including English, and neutral, non-regional dialect Spanish. Our clients come from the usual areas such as auto dealers, retail stores as well as hospitals, heavy industrial, tourism, entertainment, We want to stress that we are not an assembly-line voice service. That works for some people. We prefer and seek out a one-on-one long-term client relationship.
Additional Skills:	Producing commercials and recording voice-overs enables you to become someone else...an actor and clown and big voiced announcer or a little voice real guy. It's all play-acting. Be whoever the client wants you to be or the script calls for. As with hit songs, good writing is the key to a good spot. However, we most often don't have the freedom to write our own creative copy. If the client wants 15 sales deals and four phone numbers, we gently try to discourage that but in the end, "THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT". KNOW THIS. We will do it until the client is happy. Script changes are OK but we charge extra after the third change. We will also assist with scripts when asked. Also, we have the ability to do phone patches where the client may direct the read. We can also produce your spots or presentation. We subscribe to the best music production library with tens of thousands of royalty-free music beds as your disposal. Every day we learn something new. When we stop learning...we stop.

Work Terms

Communication is critically important. Employers need to be specific about their needs. Being vague and not responding to questions wastes your time and mine. If an employer is not sure what he or she needs then we need to talk on the phone or by e-mail so we can help with direction and concept.

PLEASE READ THE PROPOSAL, especially details on fees. For voice work, $50 is my rate per minute, not a flat rate for multiple pages.

I can be paid through SafePay Escrow. For new employers I can only work with employers who agree to the Escrow service.

I will accept payment by Check, E-Check, Wire Transfer, or SafePay. I also accept PayPal but prefer the previous methods.

I can communicate with employers by phone or e-mail almost anytime from 7 AM to 7 PM and on weekends.. My preferred method of communication is by phone. We have a US Number and a Canadian number.
