In addition to project-related details, Freelancers viewing your projects can see your name, city, state and country. Your mailing address, email address and phone number are never released to Freelancers. None of your information is released or sold to third parties.
To help us protect you, please consider the following when using our service:
- Be careful on how much information you share within your project posting. A company name or URL can inadvertently supply a Freelancer with your email address or phone number.
- Consider including a sentence in your project description indicating that for reasons of confidentiality, privileged information has been left out of the project description and that a non-disclosure agreement will be required of the selected Freelancer.
- You can post a private, invitation only project to limit the audience for your posting. These projects can only be viewed and accessed by the Freelancers whom you specifically invite.
