- If you select your local currency, the funds will be converted from USD to the selected currency by our bank (PNC). The funds will be sent to you and received by your bank in your local currency.
It’s tough to determine which option will be best for you as exchange rates change constantly and are rarely published by banks in advance.
SWIFT ID Code
When you create a wire transfer account, you will be asked to provide a SWIFT ID of your bank and an intermediary bank.
The SWIFT ID is an 8 or 11 character code that identifies a bank. The SWIFT system was designed by an international banking consortium to process secure global electronic transactions.
Contact your bank to learn the SWIFT ID and that of the intermediary bank (needed for receiving funds in U.S. Dollars).
