A2Zmoonlighter.com Kicks off the New Year with a New Name, Emoonlighter!

Pittsburgh, PA - January 9, 2003 - A2Zmoonlighter.com, an online marketplace for freelancers looking for work and employers seeking help, surges into the New Year with a new name, Emoonlighter.

So, what is the reason for the name change? The company was not bought out, and its business model is not being re-vamped. The reason for the change to Emoonlighter is to avoid the confusion that currently exists on how to spell "A2Z". Emoonlighter's CEO and Co-Founder, Inder Guglani, comments, "Emoonlighter is a brand name that employers can easily recognize and remember when considering their options to find top freelancers."

The name change only marks the beginning of many more improvements coming to the company's freelance websites over the next year. Emoonlighter made many advances to their websites in 2002, and employers and professionals utilizing the sites should expect no less in 2003.

Already in year 2003, Emoonlighter launched its new 1099 Tax Form Service for its registered employers. Now, Emoonlighter handles all of the IRS 1099 tax hassles for employers that hire freelancers through the company's sites. The 1099 Service is being offered for free as a promotion in year 2003. Professionals and employers on Emoonlighter's websites can also look forward to a more intelligent search engine with advanced search options and features in the coming months.

Over 2002, Emoonlighter saw many accomplishments. In September, the company's registered member numbers grew to 250,000 professionals and 17,000 employers. Also in September, the company was awarded the "Rising Stars" award for the Pittsburgh Technology Council's sixth annual Tech 50 Awards. Emoonlighter received this honor for demonstrating that its products and services offer unique and promising technologies and that the company has the potential to be one of the "future economic drivers" of the southwestern Pennsylvania region. Another honor was the invitation for Inder Guglani, CEO and Co-Founder of Emoonlighter, to speak at the Pittsburgh Technology Council's Fast Break Series. Guglani discussed the challenges and evolution of building and growing an online marketplace and what Emoonlighter has done to earn success in the dot bomb market.
