Submit "Premium Proposals"
If it's a perfect match, you may want to submit a Premium Proposal and go straight to the top of the list. This shows you are ready and eager to perform. Premium Proposals are especially beneficial for new Gurus who want to get noticed.
Get invited
Sometimes Employers do their own searches and "invite" you to submit a project proposal. Good for you! They may also ask questions, to clarify something in your proposal or profile. Prompt answers are a great way to start a dialog with Employers.

Let your performance record do the selling for you. Guru Recommended is a Guru-exclusive system that crunches numbers and ranks Freelancers according to several key factors, like acquisition rate, earnings and repeat business. Stay active and get promoted.

Communicate
Keep a record of your communications with your Employer using the project Work Room Discussions tab. Here you can quickly open communication with Employers about projects, attach files and have them automatically stored in your Files tab within your Work Room. Talk about convenient!

Get payment security
Even if your Employer is on the other side of the world, our SafePay option provides payment protection. Here's how it works. You create and the Employer pays a SafePay request before you even begin a project. As certain milestones are reached or upon completion of the job, the Employer approves the work and we pay you for the value of the work completed. We also offer Dispute Resolution Services in case a misunderstanding arises.
Choose a payment method
Our flexible payment options give you control over how you're paid, whether it's direct deposit, wire transfer, PayPal, or Payoneer Prepaid MasterCard. We'll also handle Employer-requested 1099s and foreign exchange conversions.
