Over the last few years, children's writing has become my specialty on Guru. I have ghostwritten dozens of children's novels and picture books. I have written classroom curriculum and educational web content for kids. In 2013, I made the longlist for the Times of London's International Prize for Children's Fiction, and I work as an assistant to a New York Times bestselling children's author. I spent fifteen years in K-12 classrooms, teaching writing and drama residencies, and helping teachers develop integrated curriculum. These years bring a special degree of experience with children's imaginations to my work on children's projects. I am also a mother of two children myself.
