Ron Hotchkiss, the Internet Marketer, is probably the only human being ever to be Born in A Zoo!

He is the only known internet marketer to have auditioned for entrance to Liverpool Cathedral Boys Choir in 1953, at the same time as Sir Paul McCartney. Ron was accepted and became Principle Boy Soprano. Sir Paul was rejected and became One of the “Beatles”...oops!

Ron joined the Royal Air Force in 1961 and was appointed as an Air QuarterMaster in 1967. He became aircrew "A" Category in 1969 and in 1974 at the age of only 31 was promoted to the rank of Master Aircrew. He was then the youngest Warrant Officer in the RAF.

He is the only internet marketer who, devised menus, cooked and served the foodstuffs to many hundreds of foreign Royals, Heads of State and numerous Vips, was selected as The Catering Officer and Chief Air Steward to “The Queens Flight” 1977 to 1984.

Ron, a self taught Chef, has devised menus, bought or ordered the food and cooked and served the same to “Her Majesty The Queen of England” and All The Royal Family. Including devising the Menu for the wedding of Lady Diana the then HRH The Princess of Wales and HRH The Prince Charles on their Flight to Gibralter to Join The Royal Yacht for their Honeymoon trip.

In his flying career he flew 5520 hours flying time of which 560 were "Royal Flights".

In 1978 he was commissioned a Kentucky Colonel by the Governor of Kentucky Julian M Carroll

One of the biggest faults with most of the affiliate programs and income opportunities out there is that they are geared toward webmasters.
People that know how to build, upload and modify web pages.

Adding pages of your own. Easy done

Chapter Four
Amazon. What can it do for me?

The Amazon Affiliate Program. It’s probably the biggest and best known affiliate program around. Hopefully this chapter will give you some ideas on the best ways to get the most out of it. It is one of the four included affiliate sites on your Profitmart website and is placed usually on your “Home Page”

If you don't know, Amazon.com is one of the largest online retailers. They started off selling books but now have a large range of consumer goods that include DVDs, Videos, Toys, Electrical goods and much more. Amazon pays between 5% and 15% on the sale of their goods. Basically, you get 5% for all goods except books that are sold at between 10% and 30% off. If you link directly to these, you will make 15%.

Amazon also now has a sliding affiliate scale available that lets you earn between 4% and 6.5% on all sales depending on the number of sales you make each quarter.

Now, the vast majority of Amazon affiliates make little or no money from their affiliate program. However, some people make thousands of dollars from it. The key to getting the best return possible is to find out what works for your PIPS site.
Remember also that your Profitmart site could be solely an Amazon sales site with amazon stores on every page if you wish!Here are some more ideas.

Try not to use basic banners. If you just use a standard Amazon banner that links to the home page, you probably won't make any sales so don't use them.

Use the search engines to get highly targeted traffic who are looking for products that Amazon sell.
On my sons soccer site, I have set up pages that attract people searching for things like Arsenal DVDs, Arsenal Videos, Manchester United Books and so on.
On these pages, I provide product links to Amazon.co.uk. Along with the links, I provide a short description of the product and the cover photo that Amazon provides. Using this method, he is currently receiving a 14% conversion rate. This means that for every 100 visitors that he sends, he gets 14 sales. This is very effective and just what your Profitmart site could be doing

Spend time looking through the Amazon stores to see products that may be of interest to your visitors. You don't need to concentrate on the same products that everyone else is recommending. Find very specific products that your visitors may not know about (or know where else they can find it).

ProfitMart affiliate commissions are calculated and paid by a completely automated software system that is in place by about 5500 different affiliate programs.
It is the best there is, but because it is powerful, and provides a good deal of information, some may find the stats, etc., a little confusing at first.
Let's keep it simple:
Here is the life of an affiliate sale as an example.

  1. You refer someone to the ProfitMart sales copy or landing pages using a properly coded affiliate link. These are available in the Affiliate Panel. Which you can also access via the profitMart link in the Affiliate Toolbar,
  2. This person joins ProfitMart, and a "pending" commission sale will show in your Affiliate Stats.
    When our system validates the paypal payment, the email address, etc., the commissioned sales will no longer just be "pending", it will become a verified commission. This can take up to 48 hours after the sale for validation.
  3. On the last day of the month the script adds up all verified commissions for you, and if they total more than $50 (commissions on sales, not including joining bonus, which is NOT a commission) since the previous month, you are moved into the payments to be paid que. Anything less than $50 is carried over to the next month.
  4. On the 1st of the next month (most affiliate programs make you wait 14 to 40 days, we don't), the script sends all of the commissions due to you in a single payment via PayPal directly to your account, and you will receive an email notification to that effect.
      YOU MUST be sure you have a valid PayPal account to get paid. The script sends the payment to the address you gave us for Paypal. If you give us a fake email for PayPal, the money goes to whomever actually has that address at PayPal. It has happened, and creates a huge headache for the member, PayPal, and us. MAKE SURE your PayPal email address is VALID please.
  5. Now, the next month, when this same member that joined through your link earlier pays his subscription again when it comes due AND your account is in good standing, you will see another "pending" commission for him, without actually creating another sale. This is a pending and recurring commission.When the script validates that this member that joined through you and did in fact clear his payment at paypal successfully, this recurring commission to you becomes "verified", and you get credited again for no extra work:
  6. This continues for that sale so long as the member renews, and you renew.
    Note that if for some reason this person does NOT pay their subscription when Paypal bills them, or their credit card expires, or whatever reason PayPal cannot process them, we cannot pay a commission, as we will not have received a payment.
    On average, people stay in membership programs from 3 to 6 months. This means you will see from a minimum of about $30 (3 months at $9.98 commission recurring) up to about $150 (6 months at $24.98 commission recurring) for any individual referral.

    My SON GWYNNE...... With Thanks For Loving my Daughter So Much.

    Since starting to write this ebook, my Son-In-Law Gwynne was taken ill on the 5th November and after three weeks of suffering in Hospital he passed away on my 64th Birthday the 22nd November 2007 at the age of only 38.
    He was a "Super Guy" a real Super Hero, well liked and loved by all he met. Both at work where he was a Technology Partner with Vodafone PLC and socially with all his friends.
    He will be seriously missed by everyone he touched.
    I know he wanted this project to be a success and therefore I must dedicate this work to Gwynne and my lovely Daughter Sarah.

    20% of the income from Non-Member sales will be forwarded to the Charity Gwynne supported "Save the Children".
