Guru core values

Guru has evolved in a big way over the last few years. Building the foundation for a platform that enables you to “work your way” has been a labor of passion. We hope you’re finding it not only useful but also a joy to use!

As we continue to grow as a company, we know it’s important to define the core values that drive us. Publishing these values will keep us accountable for providing you with the features and services you need. We also hope it will give you some insight into why we do what we do.

Our Core Values

  1. Trust: We assume the best intentions and build trust by living up to our word.
  2. Respect: We take the high road, and treat others as we would like to be treated.
  3. Integrity: We act fairly, ethically and openly in all we do.
  4. Accountability: We own our actions and decisions.
  5. Tolerance: We all make mistakes – forgive, learn and move on.

Keep these values in mind as you use the platform. You are a big part of who we are, and how you use will shape its future! Feel free to post any suggestions to Guru Answers.

All of the links in the Guru help section are broken. Is there any way to contact someone at Guru for help?

Hi RT, sorry you’re having trouble accessing the help articles you need! Can you let me know which pages you’re looking at where you see broken links? We’d be happy to answer your questions.

Just wanted to say that I have been at Guru for years and have always been thankful the responsive, courteous service I get when I have a question. Guru has been an asset for my business and my life. Much appreciated!

I personally like the services offered by yet, I see some room for improvement in the website navigation. You need to look into the ease of use and how menus are organized.

I waited too long to give a good review on the help I received from Liedtke Studio on a job of illustration she did for me. I notice I had an expiration date of Dec 2014 to post a review. She did a good job and just wanted to complement her work.

Hi, First time using Guru. I’m very pleased with the job that was done and hope to use Guru much more often.

Having said that, I’m having problems everywhere with your user interface and web page. Your support forum seems to be totally down, my job is not appearing on my dashboard, getting errors when making a paypal payment, I am totally confused about SafePay vs Guru invoicing, and there is no contact information on your web site. Only this link. There seems to be no way to get support

It seems that Guru is really good at providing matches, but pretty much falls apart after that. It’s really disconcerting for a site that specialized in matching tech jobs.

I really hope that you get these issues resolved and please, p lease, please provide some SUPPORT!

I’ve been noticing some very nice and useful new features being added to the very clear and intuitive layout. If this process of improvement continues, I think I will have to upgrade my membership.
    Thank you and best wishes,
    your satisfied freelancer.
