The quick and dirty CV: Eight years working for two of the largest PR companies globally, Burson-Marsteller and Ketchum. Developed, wrote and edited content for clients ranging from Cisco to BP, from UNAIDS to The Russian Government. Provided final quality control for content on a daily basis that was disseminated to the media, corporate leaders, investors, congressional staffers, and foreign bureaucrats.

Having worked extensively with news outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Times, Bloomberg, and Reuters, I have successfully pitched, developed, and placed feature articles, press releases, op-eds, letters to the editor, and more.

Which is all to say that I bring a strategic level of insight to my editing. I now freelance because that gives me more time to spend with my awesome daughter and equally awesome wife.

I am comfortable across a wide range of styles and formats, from writing speeches for corporate leaders to developmentally editing pieces for government and NGO leaders to be published in academic journals and online (Columbia’s Journal of International Affairs and Huffington Post).

My work has spanned a range of business and policy sectors, including energy (natural gas and oil), telecoms (infrastructure and mobile telephony), foreign policy (international trade, U.S. foreign relations, economic and political issues relating to China, Russia, Cambodia, Central Asia), and logistics.

Work Terms

My schedule is work dependent. While I prefer longer-term engagements or large projects, I am always happy to oblige shorter work needs.
