Recent graduate wanting to make a name in the cutthroat world of freelance writing
I found my passion for writing at an reading and writing at an early age, mostly by chance. As a child, I spent copious amounts of time reading teen horror fiction and gaming articles. At the time, I loved to read and would spend much of my time looking forward to the latest 'Goosebumps' book, or just going the local public library and sifting through the mystery & suspense section. It wasn't until I was 12 years old, that I decided, through the encouragement of my teacher, to write a fictitious short story. While I never managed to finish it, due to a low attention span, it created a spark in me that would smolder, but never quite die out as the years went on.
In high school, I had the good fortune of receiving extensive feedback from my sophomore English teacher on a story I had written. To this day I still remember the words he said to me. In addition to telling me how much he enjoyed my passionate and descriptive style of writing, he also stated that I had a gift for writing, and that it should be nurtured. I made up my mind from that day forward, that I would pursue a career in a field that would allow me develop this skill to my utmost satisfaction. Thus, here I am. After recently graduating from a program that I am passionate about, I have decided it is now or never to pursue a business in writing and am here to do just that.
With that being said, it would be pretty boring to put all my eggs in one basket, so I will also write down some of the other things that I am passionate about. I enjoy weight lifting, particularly strength training. There's no better feeling that going to a gym when you're beaten down at the end of the day, and rejuvenating yourself by lifting some slabs of iron. I have been a strength training and bodybuilding enthusiast for the past few years. While life has gotten in the way from time to time, I try to maintain an active workout schedule to the best of my ability. Another hobby I enjoy is hiking, especially in the area I live in.

payment terms: flexible (however, for my target range of work my price figure is around $60-100 per write up.)
