I keep the hours that a job requires of me within reason. I aim to work 8 hour days, but often work longer.
As far as payment, I give an estimate and a scope of work at the outset. I very consistently stick to my estimates except in cases where clients expressly choose to expand the scope. I formulate proposals with the goal of achieving the best value--that is to say the most client satisfaction for the least money--which often means steering clients away from incrementalism and trying to settle up front on a large enough scope to achieve the desired results. As the saying goes, "Cheap costs money." However, I am happy to be managed any which way provided agreement to a reliable payment structure.
Fees and deductions associated with the chosen method of payment are the client's responsibility.
My workflow is fairly standard, but I can provide clear guidelines on materials and procedure as needed.
Initial contacts must come through email or phone. I can also communicate via Skype and Facetime thereafter.
