About

I am an Illustrator and Compositor/VFX Artist with over seven years industry experience in film/animation.

In May 2006, I graduated from Emily Carr Institute of Art + Design (Vancouver, BC) with a Bachelor of Media Arts, majoring in Animation. Since 2007, I have been working in the film/animation industry as a Compositor/VFX Artist.

I recently left my position at DHX Media (formerly Nerd Corps Entertainment) as VFX Supervisor. I worked on several great shows including Storm Hawks, Hotwheels Battle Force Five, League of Super Evil, Slugterra and Monster High.

I enjoy hackey sacking, cycling, watching hip-hop/street dancing, doodling and dabbling in electronic music production.

Payment terms: I will make a fixed price quote. Half of payment required up front. Remaining half required upon completion. Extra compensation required for extra revisions. See below for example.

Example of terms for a VFX/Compositing job:
Client will provide Adam Bull (VFX Artist) with fifty percent of compensation up front. Remaining fifty percent of compensation shall be provided to VFX Artist upon completion of shots (provided in low resolution renders). One test shot for each effect will be presented to Client before VFX Artist continues with remaining shots. Client has permission to make one revision (to each effect) at this stage. As stated above, after remaining shots are completed, Client will provide remaining compensation in exchange for the low resolution renders. After Client has reviewed the completed shots and approves of them, VFX Artist will proceed to submit the high resolution renders to Client. If Client requires further revisions to the completed shots, additional compensation will be required. These additional revisions will be completed at a rate of $25/hr. If additional revisions are indeed required, the high resolution renders will be provided to Client upon receiving the additional compensation for such revisions.
