Just one of the few lucky ones who could turn their hobby into a career

Born and brought up in Dhaka Bangladesh, I finished my foundation degree in fashion designing and clothing technology in the year 2009 and started my journey working as a fashion merchandiser for a German based apparel sourcing company’s branch office in Dhaka. In my early career years as a fashion merchandiser, I worked with some renowned brands like Tom Tailor, Zalando, Mountain Warehouse and few others. Despite being a merchandiser I did not leave my skill development on Fashion Illustration which I felt passionate about and always wanted to take as my future career, thus I kept Fashion illustration as a significant part of my life side by side. Once I felt that I was ready to take Illustration as my full time career, I left my job as a merchandiser and took a leap of faith and to my surprise that leap took such a spectacular turn that I almost felt like being on a roller coaster. I got my 1st commissioned work within the next 4 months and they never stopped coming! I was totally overwhelmed by the response I was getting and the experiences I was having working for various clients around the globe. It’s been 2 years now since I started freelancing and so far was lucky enough to work on around 50 projects by clients in USA, UK , Australia and France. I have sound knowledge on French and currently I am also pursuing bachelors in Business side by side.

Work Terms

I liked working on a fixed project basis , as I think it is both fair for my clients and to myself as well. My work is artistic thus its difficult to quantify it in terms of time. I am very much responsive, warm and understanding. I am very much open to revisions as well till my client is absolutely happy with me.
