I am an information systems engineer by trade and freelance designer and problem solver by passion. My digital journey began in 1997, when I was introduced to the HTML and graphic design. It is something that I am deeply passionate about and continue to learn and improve every day.
I started freelancing in 2002, building websites, corporate branding and typography.
After high school I studied Information Systems Engineering, Business & Project Management and Financial Management. I spent two years working for a small business solutions provider before leaving to work for a large manufacturing company. Both environments helped me gain insight into the growing pains and operational requirements of small and large businesses. I was fortunate to be able to fill all-rounder roles in both corporations honing in on my “problem solver” skills and being able to incorporate creative aspects in all areas of my work, from sales administration, typesetting, design, logistics and yes, even marketing.
