Hello!

I am an Engineer and an MBA (Human Resources) by qualification. After a relevant HR experience of 5 years, I took a break to volunteer across India in projects related to education and sustainability.
From 2014 I am a part of F5 Escapes (www.f5escapes.com), an experiential travel company redefining the way women travel in India. I am the Co-founder and COO. I also work on a lot of sustainability projects on the side, teaching DIY crafts with a focus on getting to work with our hands.

Due to the travel industry being hit due to Covid-19, I have a lot of time on my hands and can offer my expertise to the relevant projects. Here are a few of my skills that can help your project:

Project Planning and Management:
My job as an operations person in F5 Escapes involve planning the trip down to the last detail, contacting various vendors and activity providers, ensure that they deliver, agree of terms of service delivery, handle contingency while the trip is being executed and ensuring customer satisfaction. Travel is intangible and subjective. So I have handled issues right from people having issues with altitude sickness to curfew announced while the trip is running, to ensuring camping arrangements when it rained without any forecast.

Internet research:
I have planned trips across all of India. 33 states and UTs. This includes a lot of online research, calls and reconnaissance.
All trips that I plan have a local flavour, so we do not stay in hotels. I specifically research for locals who are willing to host, ensuring that the basic safety, cleanliness and hospitality is in place.

Working remotely and managing a team:
I had move to the Himalayas 5 years ago, while the team is still in Bangalore. My co-founder and I have created a culture that is based on trust and accountability. I have been working remotely and growing the company working from 2000 km away from my team, ensuring delivery and managing motivation.

Work Terms
