I have extensive experience in an international business environment:
a) 3 years as Country Manager in Russia for FranklinCovey (a global leader in effectiveness training, productivity tools, strategy execution, and assessment services. Training programs include the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Leading at the Speed of Trust, 5 Choices on the Path to Extraordinary Productivity and Leadership: Great Leaders, Great Teams, Great Results). Localization and adaptation of FranklinCovey training and consulting products for the Russian market, including printed and video participant and facilitator materials, as well as marketing and promotional materials. Production of materials identical in feel and look to the original FranklinCovey teaching materials;
b) 10+ years as VP (Finance & Legal) at Europa Media Group, a major commercial radio network in Russia owned by Lagardère. Joined as first ever CFO of this fast-growing company and built the financial function from scratch, successfully managing cash flows to support company growth, operational and financial integration of new radios following their acquisition;
c) 2 years as CEO of Izvestia, the national general interest newspaper. Developed and implemented a strategy based on re-defined audience targets and product concept and design to meet audience expectations in terms of content and advertisers’ expectations of advertising effectiveness. Managed a major re-launch of the newspaper leading to increase in AIR of 20%, implemented general operational and financial standards, including a system of clearly defined financial targets.
