I am a highly motivated individual and experienced academic and blog writer seeking to pursue a lifelong passion of becoming a writer.

Two years ago I was a Ph.D student at the prestigious Ivy League school, University of Pennsylvania,with a Master’s in my pocket and well on my way to obtaining a doctorate in materials science and engineering. Then one morning, I woke up and realized how miserable I was. Writing was my true passion, and the safe option with a guaranteed bright and stable future, and the career my parents always wanted for me, no longer appealed to me. I took the risk and I dropped out, determined to pursue a career as a writer.

Now two years after that fateful decision, I finally have my ducks in a row. I currently write articles for hubpages, Blogmutt, Textbroker, and CrowdSource. My articles have won several awards including the engaging artists award, as well as Hub of the Day for my article entitled "Tips and Advice for Anyone with Braces." I was also nominated for the rising star award my article "Ways to Treat a Dog with a Sensitive Stomach" and several of my other articles received editor's choice. I also currently write blog articles for a solar company.

I also write fiction. I primarily enjoy writing horror stories exploring the reasons why people become 'evil' so to speak, such as why someone would chose a life of crime, or why a person would resort to committing murder. On the flip side of that coin, I also write children's books, primarily ones that teach young children a lesson, such as why it is not okay to litter. I also like to write adventure books for young adults.

While I am not published yet, I am hoping to remedy that situation soon. I enjoy writing, it is my passion and I am a hard worker. I give nothing less that 100% on every job no matter what the job may be. I will give the same dedication and passion to every job.
