I am the small business owner of a resale clothing store with a passion for travel, environment, fashion and doing my best to raise my three children alongside my firefighter husband. Writing and photography are ways in which I can share these interests with others. I have an open minded view of the world and am always willing to learn more about it and it's people. Writing and reading come naturally to me and have been part of my life since I was a child so editing and proofreading are also part of my skill set.
In 1997 I graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in Communications and Broadcasting. Although it has been awhile since I left college, this time has given me many opportunities to learn about a variety of word-worthy topics. I worked in the restaurant business for many years which provided me with an excellent knowledge of food and wine. For a few years I worked as a massage therapist in New Zealand. This ignited my need to see the world and now to share it with my family. Three years ago we opened our small business, Rogue Resale, on the Oregon coast. For the first 2 years I worked 6 days a week with a 1 year old always at my feet (or attached to my front). Eventually we became successful enough that employees were hired which now gives me more time to encourage other avenues. I have always been a reader, a writer and an explorer and I look forward to the opportunity to share these skills with you.
