Employees are your most expensive and most valuable resource. I can help you manage those costs, so you can focus on running your business.

When I decided to go into HR, I knew I wanted to help businesses succeed by creating a great place to work. It just made sense to me that if someone is happy, they’ll do a better job, which is better for the bottom line.
Most small businesses don’t need a FT HR person, but there are times when you need some help with all of the ins and outs of having employees. With over 7 years of experience in a variety of industries & capacities, I can help you create a great place to work, so you can focus on running your business.
I started my HR journey at Purdue University, where I pursued a Master’s degree in HR Mgmt. Studying with MBA students at Krannert, we completed team-based projects in:
-Business Strategy
-Change Management
-Legal Compliance
-Employee Relations
-Staffing Systems
On a cold, dreary day in February ‘04, I flew into the Fort Lauderdale airport for a final interview, and knew that palm trees & training management were in my future. Since then, I have enjoyed recruiting for Kelly Services, adjudicated unemployment claims for Florida, offered benefits guidance to business owners & employees, and managed HR departments for small businesses.
I currently serve on the Board of Directors for Central Florida HR Association, volunteer with Labrador Retriever Rescue of Florida, and bake cookies to unwind.

Work Terms

I am very flexible in work and payment arrangements. I work by the hours, by the project or on a retainer basis based on the comfort level of my clients.
I do prefer email communication initially while we work out the details, but am happy to use text, phone calls, Google Hangouts or Skype to communicate. My small business hourly rate is $60, and is negotiable for longer and more in-depth projects.
