Work Terms

Hours of Operation
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EAT (East Africa Time / GMT+3). I'm flexible for urgent projects and can accommodate different time zones with advance notice.
Payment Terms:
• Hourly projects: Weekly invoicing via Guru SafePay
• Fixed-price projects: 50% upfront, 50% upon completion (negotiable for long-term clients)
• Ongoing retainers: Monthly invoicing, first month paid in advance
Use Guru's platform for security and transparency. For larger projects (over $2,000), milestone-based payment works best.
Preferred Communication:
I'm responsive and collaborative. Here's how I work best:
• Project kickoff: Detailed brief (I ask clarifying questions first)
• Ongoing updates: Guru messaging (I provide progress updates every 2-3 days for longer projects)
• Quick questions: Guru chat (I typically respond within 2-4 hours during business hours)
• Revisions: I include 1 - 2 rounds of revisions in most projects; additional rounds billed at agreed hourly rate
