I was born in Preetz, Germany in 1994. Based in Arizona while growing up, I spent my childhood traveling throughout the American Southwest. I attended a high school for aspiring performing artists, where I was educated in theater and musical performance. Outside of school, I worked as a freelance artist and exhibited at Gallery Marsiglia in downtown Phoenix. I graduated with distinction from Yale's undergraduate art program in May 2016. I have also studied art at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design in Washington, DC, and Yale’s studio art intensive in Auvillar, France. I have traveled to eleven countries in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Caribbean through artistic fellowships.
My work has appeared on album covers and in galleries, including the Yale Art Gallery. I have been published in the Yale Daily News, where I served as illustrations and comics editor, senior illustrator, and senior photographer; in the Yale Record, where I served as art director; and in the Yale Globalist, the Yale Journal of Medicine and Law, Kalliope Literary Magazine, the Icelandic national newspaper Morgunblaðið, and beyond. I recently co-edited a book on drone photography technique written by National Geographic photographer Kike Calvo. I have won numerous awards, including finalist status for college editorial cartooning in the Society for Professional Journalists national competition and the Ethel Childe Walker Prize for exceptional artistic development by a Yale art student. I focused my studies on art and its links to global affairs, sociopolitical issues, and environmental science.

Work Terms

Since this is freelance work, I can work at any hour and communicate via email, Skype, or phone about the development of a project. In most cases, it would make more sense to be paid for a specific commission rather than by the hour.
