Bethany first fell in love with words on a small, Oregon farm. Her passions and opportunities propelled her to Brooklyn, across the South, Eastern Europe, Mexico, Canada, and back again.
After graduating from an independent education, she immediately started tutoring English composition, teaching in several subjects in private schools, preparing unique ESL classes, editing copy for businesses, freelancing for newspapers, writing her own experiences, poetry, and short stories, and working on video teams as a recruiter, editor, coordinator, and writer.
In 2015, she completed the WORLD Journalism program. For the last 10 years she has worked in the same publishing company while freelancing and enjoying other challenges and jobs.
History, Portland, the smell of books, train rides, Ukrainian countryside, photo journalism, E. B. White, problem solving, house plants, Hymn singing, and speed-typing all maker her heart beat faster.
Bethany possess a special passion for helping others put their thoughts or stories on paper. She's enjoyed a variety of jobs with companies and individuals who are not confident with their English or are tackling projects that scare them!
She enjoys transcription and reorganization of people's thoughts, helping them communicate clearly.
Above all, she gets excited trying to capture the unique characteristics of companies and individuals.
Words create and share people, places, experiences, products...this can always be done creatively and with integrity.
