Expanding your Big Picture.

I have been creating custom web solutions for clients for well over two decades now, and have in that time worked on every conceivable type and scale of project. I consider myself a very well rounded developer who is rarely constrained by the limitations of conventional practices. I specialise in innovative PHP and MySQL solutions for CMS and site administrative panels; and dynamic, user-friendly front end interfaces incorporating AJAX, PHP, and Javascript. I am experienced with Drupal, Wordpress, and Node.

Work Terms

Communication - I am available at all times (within reason!). I like to think that I am extremely responsive, and don't believe in keeping clients hanging about for answers or updates. By the same token, I expect much the same responsiveness from an employer.


Work Ethics - I tend to adhere to the "measure twice, cut once" method of working on more complex projects. I am often contracted by individuals and companies that were tempted by low-cost offshore development but wound up with a low-quality, inadequate, or nonexistent products as a result and that's not something you'll experience with me.

I always guarantee my work as far as possible - obviously web development is a dynamic process and code can't be backwards compatible forever, but I never charge for small fixes or updates to projects that haven't been disabled by server OS updates, new browser releases, etc. I am happy to give maintenance contracts if required of course.
