Camille Moore-Barnett

Fashion Design professional experienced in every facet of the apparel design process from initial concept to production.

I have over 20 years of design experience with a concentration in girls tween apparel.
I specialize in cut and sew knit tops, dresses, and bottoms but I have the skill set to jump in on almost any product category in sportswear apparel for womenswear and menswear.

I am highly skilled executing the following:

Flat sketching apparel and accessories for tech packs using Adobe Illustrator: Knits, wovens, denim, dresses, sweaters, handbags, sweater knit hats/gloves/scarves.

Preparing tech packs with accurate garment construction/sewing details and specs using Excel.

Creating CADs (presentation boards) of apparel collections for market appointments using Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop. This includes color combos, filling with prints, stripes, screens, graphics and embroideries.

Apparel trend forecast presentations.

Creating apparel trend/inspiration digital libraries for target markets.

Creating basic graphic screen prints for t-shirts/sweatshirts using Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop.

Creating logos, main labels, hang tags and packaging for apparel/accessories including production-ready layouts.

My career has taken me to many different types of companies from a small-start up to a large consumer goods conglomerate. I have designed apparel for department stores such as Nordstroms and Bloomingdales as well as mass market retailers Wal-Mart and Target. I find that cultivating relationships, being a team player and always being open to learn a new skill have been the keys to my success and longevity in the fashion industry. I want to be useful to and appreciated by those who recognize the importance of expertise and a high quality of work.
