Before going freelance I was an international business manager, leading business ventures to success around the world - from Brazil to Indonesia and from England to Italy. In the course of my business life I have raised over $12 million in investment capital and grants. Now I provide clients with business advisory and mentoring services, interim management, support in creating business models, plans, operational budgets and investment proposals.
The type of business planning models I make are not simply an "add-em-up and report-the-result" series of spreadsheets most people offer. They are dynamic models where you control and adjust key drivers (e.g. credit days, % probability) so you can plan forward, seeing where sensitivities lie. In other words models that help you make effective decisions and become part of your management methodology.
I have created and developed business models and plans, investor pitches and proposals for companies working in high tech, software, hospitality, property development, real estate, retail, fashion, sports, eCommerce and manufacturing. I focus on Start-Ups, Small and Medium sized companies, and Non-profits. In these last twelve months (independent of Guru) I have helped two of my clients raise £1.2 million and £80K respectively based on the the business model/plan and investment pitches/proposals I co-authored.
