Fast, efficient and precise professional Chinese/English translator (Simplified & Traditional) with legal qualifications

For the past few years I worked full time as a lawyer in a top tier Australian law firm, specialising in commercial litigation. Prior to that, I was accredited by the Australian National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI) as a Professional translator (English/Chinese). I translated and interpreted for Chinese delegation groups visiting Australian professional bodies in a range of diverse fields including education, government, media and science.

I grew up in Beijing, New York and Sydney and have native command of both English and Chinese (Mandarin - spoken / Simplified and Traditional - written). I believe that a quality piece of translation is not only accurate, but also fit for purpose; it is the translator's job to ascertain that purpose and add value for the client.

I am interested in understanding your translation needs and exploring how to best meet them, whether they are urgent proofreading jobs or complex large scale translation tailored for a particular audience.

In my spare time I enjoy yoga, travel and literature.
