Chinthake holds a Masters Degree in Business Studies from University of Colombo and BSc in computing and information systems from London Metropolitan University. He is also a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP - 1139467) and practitioner. He is a member of the Computer Society of Sri Lanka (CSSL - M532), Sri Lanka Evaluation Association (SLEvA) and International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA – 105495). He has completed the licentiate level one examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountancy of Sri Lanka and two years of Financial Audit Training
He has overall 15+ years of experience in the Information Technology industry involving the full software development life cycle with extensive experience on managing projects of software development, call center operations, software quality assurance and audits, government process re-engineering, document scanning and data entry and information classification. He has worked in private sector IT projects and government sector IT projects which are funded by World Bank and government.
Prior to joining ICTA he worked for IDM Software International (Pvt) Ltd for 7 years. He has worked as Programmer, Systems Analyst and Designer, Team Leader and Software Development Coordinator. He was a visiting lecturer for IDM Computer Studies (Pvt) Ltd.
His experience includes project conceptualization, procurement management and consultancy, contract management, software quality assurance, software cost estimations, risk management and project delivery management and activities.
