I have been a creative visual artist my whole life and entered the field of illustration professionally in 1988. I have worked for printshops, signshops and agencies. Striving for excellence has always kept me interested in continually developing my skills and honing the many techniques that have kept me in this field for over a quarter of a century. It takes constant training and self discipline to continuously grow and enhance my craftsmanship that makes and keeps me a world class illustrator. I strive to increase my skills and my speed to keep my rates as affordable as is possible for the high level of work I provide.
I work long hours in my studio which is located in the Midtown Arts District in downtown Jackson, Mississippi. I generally come to work every day of the week, if only for just a few hours to clean up. It is important to work from a studio which is designed and set-up for my needs as an illustrator. Most Guru.com artists are working from their homes which usually proves to be very distracting and can hinder job performance/customer deadlines. My cllents' needs and wishes are taken VERY seriously by me.
