With a keen eye for grammar, spelling and punctuation errors, my editing also checks for flow and context. These skills have been honed over thirty years, mostly in tourism-related businesses and in the music industry. Since semi-retiring in 2010 I have edited two books for author self-publication and another for Hancock House Publishing, Wrong Highway: The Misadventures of a Misplaced Society Girl (2011).

My editing expertise comes from 30+ years marketing tourism, the arts and the not-for-profit sector -- taking speeches, promo sheets, resumes and articles then helping my clients cut out the fluff and get to the point, at the same time fixing the (sometimes appalling) errors that today's university grads, even with Masters, don't catch.

Work Terms

I work online from my home; text and manuscripts accepted in Word format and edited using 'track changes' until you are happy. Payment online, installment schedule to be mutually acceptable.
