Writer, editor, content developer, & social media wiz
I am passionate about education but have interests in many different areas. Graduated with BA in Journalism, taught in an urban school for 2 years, attended graduate school for Sociology with a sequence in Community & Economic Development, and now work on a $30+ million US Dept. of Ed grant at the Smithsonian Science Education Center. Current and past work experience includes: writing, editing, blogging, social media, Twitter, FB, managing social media campaigns, interviewing, communication planning, project management, contract development, travel logistics, etc.
Work Terms
I can work at night and on weekends on projects. I prefer to discuss project goals, terms, and expectations in person or on the phone, followed by a contract outlining responsibilities and deadlines. I like clearly outlining roles and responsibilities in writing. Payment and payment terms can be negotiated.
