About

The shape and solutions of the future rely totally on the collective effort of people working together. We are all an integral part of the web of life. - Jacque Fresco

I am a BIG thinker. A strategy maniac. An innovator of the crazy kind. I don't do things the way they "should be", instead, I look for the solutions that nobody might have thought of. Taking risks is worth it to me. Because without risk nothing will change.

My experience in both the corporate and non-profit world has taught me that THINKING BIG is how change happens. And, in order to make change, systemic, cultural, or economic, we need to see the solutions that exist outside of our own little bubble.

Big ideas crossed with the ability to get down and dirty-that's what keeps me moving.

There are thousands of business consultants ready to work for you.The difference is that I want to work WITH you. That means that we are a team working towards the same goal. I am proud of my work, but I am not a proud person. If I have a question, I'll ask. If I mess up, I'll tell you. If I'm wrong, I'll apologize.

With career in business spanning over 25 years, I bring my lived experience to everything I do. I provide executive-level strategic visioning and business planning, operational oversight, talent management, and financial and fiscal oversight based on your unique and individual needs.

My values include:

SOCIAL IMPACT: I want to make a significant, positive change that addresses a pressing social challenge and affirms the humanity of all people.

TRANSFORMATION:Change is good.

QUALITY: I strive to always exceed your expectations.

TEAMWORK: Teamwork is essential to create unity, diverse thinking, improved communication, and increased productivity.

INTEGRITY: If you ask, I will answer in an ethical, honest, and transparent way.

RESPECT FOR PEOPLE: All people are treated equally, regardless of their ability, age, race, gender, etcetera, etc.

PERSONAL ACCOUNTABILITY: I do what I say I'll do. And, if I can't you'll be the first to know.

Work Terms

I have a fairly flexible work schedule. My preferred hours are from 7:30am - 3:00pm (EST), but I am also able to work in the evening and on some weekends if need be.

You can reach me by phone, text, or email. I like to schedule regular days/times to talk by phone, even if we've spoken earlier. This way, we can be sure to check in on a regular basis, see if anything has or needs to be changed, and make sure we are on the same page.

As for payment, I bill hourly to the quarter hour. My hourly rate for off-site work is $100 and $125 for onsite. If I am answering a quick email or taking a quick call (under 5 minutes or so), I probably won't bill for that. However, if those quick emails/calls become too frequent, I will have to start charging.

When starting a project, I like to make a project plan with milestones to make sure the deliverables are on track. The worst thing is to have spent hours and hours working the wrong way on the wrong thing! If you already have a plan in place, that's great!

Because we will not likely be working together in person, I feel that it is very important to be upfront about our styles. I am a straight-shooter. I say what I mean, and mean what I say, and I do that as kindly as possible. Boundaries are important for both sides. When is it ok and not ok to connect? How long are you willing to wait for a response? What is "important" and what isn't? These are questions that we need to suss out at the beginning.
