Android Developer

I am an Android Developer with 3 years of experience and 11 of my own applications on the Google Play store.

My formal training is in Mechanical Engineering (BS) and Bioengineering (MS) and I have worked full-time as a Laboratory Manager in medical research for 8 years. I picked up Android development as a hobby, and, as a result of my interest and skill in it, I have decided to make it my profession. I am currently seeking freelance projects that I can use to further hone my skills and build my portfolio of accomplishments.

I have experience using Firebase as a cloud-based back end as well as SQLite and Realm for local data persistence. I have experience integrating Google and Facebook Authorization as well as retrieving data from REST/JSON Api’s. Git is my version control system of choice.

I am a native English speaker located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
