David was born and raised in Columbia, Missouri. He is married to his wife, Jessica and has two children, Isabella and Benjamin whom he is also raising in Columbia. This town has a very special place in his heart, and always will.
He enjoys helping people and giving back to the community. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Central Missouri Diabetic Children’s Camp, Inc. in Columbia for almost five years. David worked extensively on the bookkeeping of this non-profit organization in early 2010 when the organization was struggling to keep their doors open. A few short months later the organization got back on its feet and is financially solvent to this day. He strives to achieve similar success stories for any business he works for and/or any client he takes on.
David has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Accounting from Columbia College and he anticipates earning a second Bachelors of Science in Computer Information Systems in early 2014.
He has always been strong in the field of numbers and logic. Always eager to “do the books” and analyze the financials of various endeavors to increase efficiency and earnings.
David started The Bernhardt Group, LLC as a way to help the small business owner excel at what they love and give their business a “real shot.” He is a people person and felt his skills, in this format, was a great way to give back the community that has given so much to him.

I have extensive experience providing services to clients in the virtual world and am available via email, Skype, chat, and phone. I make myself available on the clients time table.
