I am Devontrae, a Web Developer starting up my own Firm called ForkLabs. Until I meet certain goals, I will be working as a freelance individual.
I've been a Web Developer since the age of 16. I started off working for various online forum communities as a PHP developer working with Code Igniter and PHPbb, pretty much whatever I had to use to get the job done.
From there, I started getting more involved in my own personal projects, which means I needed to master Web Design. The majority of design work I've done over the years involves a lot of User Interface [UI] design and implementation for a few different projects.
In 2012, I moved from Tennessee to Los Angeles, California to grow my skills as a developer and boy did I! I got the chance to meet very intelligent programmers from UCI, and I even landed a job as an in-house Web Developer at a little media company called All-In-Orbit - But sadly, it was only a part time job and couldn't generate enough income for me to sustain the expensive everyday life in Los Angeles, California. Thus, I turned back to working on projects for online communities, and at the end of 2013 I returned home to Memphis, TN.
Shortly after, I published my own MVC Framework, which is very light and can be used for API development. I've written the Syndrone Online API using this very same Framework.
Now in 2015, I am starting the year off right as I have decided to venture out with my skillset to develop a larger portfolio. I will be posting some portfolio pieces here up to twice per month to stay relevant.
Work Terms
I work sporatically throughout the day, to ensure all of my projects get completed as quickly as possible without rushing, so that I may lock-in the best quality in the best time.
When you order my services, a contract is to be signed by both parties to ensure a good understanding is in place before I begin work.
The final price is to be negotiated before I begin working, as every project is different. I will automatically assume that the larger your project - the larger your budget. So, please come equipped with enough funds to show your value in the website you want built.
