Dr. Kitty Bickford, DBS, CPC

Author of 52 books on starting Nonprofit 501c3 Tax Exempt Organizations without an attorney

Owner of Tax Exempt 501c3, LLC, a registered and insured nonprofit incorporation and 501c3 service. Over 1,000 nonprofits set up with 100% IRS approval, no rejects ever. Independent contractor for a national corporation, Harbor Compliance.

One of 22 certified professional nonprofit executive coaches in the USA for PACE Corporation working one-on-one with young nonprofit administrators to help them grow their nonprofits and acquire funding.

Founder and President of Pasture Valley Children Missions and BenevoLance, Dr. Kitty Bickford is one of the foremost experts in the country on getting tax-exempt 501c3 nonprofit status. A Christian woman, speaker, author, consultant, and 10-year Air Force veteran, Kitty is happily married to her best friend, has four children, and fourteen grandchildren.

She is a lifelong "extravagant cheapskate" who enjoys doing big things on small budgets. Her favorite scripture is "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." As a retired teacher, she lives by Albert Einstein's famous "if you cannot explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough."

She is the author of the popular 51-book Do Your Own Nonprofit state series and Nonprofit Touchdown: Winning The 501c3 Game Against IRS. Edition 2 of the 51-book state series debuts January 2018.

Work Terms

I charge a fair price for what I do and do it professionally the first time. My fees are thousands less than attorneys, and hundreds less than most incorporation services. Flat fee projects work best because every nonprofit is different, and some (such as those with international missions, churches, schools, hospitals, and research facilities) take a while to complete. I try to complete all work within 7 days of receiving all needed information. I also have an optional follow-up service contract for nonprofits who want ongoing consulting services once established.
