As an avid media consumer and Sophomore Communications Major at Pace University Emily spends most of her time reading , re-reading, writing, re-writing, watching and re-watching. Whether learning through media or people her goal is to utilize all that she learns to be more than an observer - but a contributor. Working with Vox Literary Magazine as a Freshman has given Emily first hand experience in a professional editorial environment. In addition to editing the Prose section of the magazine Emily also writes her own blog with content including everything from reviews to explaining social media. Emily has worked in various positions giving her a great skill set from an office and professional work setting to experience working with children. She also has an array of hobbies and interests including health and fitness, she was recently certified by Thomas the Promise Enterprises/ISCA to teach Kickboxing. Emily has interned at Hooplaha.com in the Editorial department, worked as the Food Manager for the annual Pace 4 Kids Dance Marathon, continued to Co-edit Vox Literary Magazine as well as keep up with her blog, Communications courses and Kickboxing classes.
